The Drug Boycott Campaign

Get to Know the Different Aspects of International Drug Traffic!

You wanna get high? If you do, at least you should know that, at the same time, someone else can get really low as a result of that very choice of yours.

Drugs are cultivated by very poor people in the poorest countries of the world (also referred to as the South in contrast to its counterpart, the industrialized, developed North), and they will stay poor since illicit drug cultivation is not sustainable development. In fact, it is the sort of development where the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, our global environment gets destroyed, and the overall security of people is threatened. If you think taking drugs is somehow anti-establishment and rebellious, think again: using drugs is not just your own private and personal matter. It is a matter that concerns everyone, a matter which has global repercussions.

There are many ways to boycott the international drug traffic, the first and foremost is of course: Don't take drugs!
